AR / Unity / Materials
How to reveal yourself digitally, especially in AR space? Let’s start from digital materials!
- PART I : Digital Materials: Visibility -
material built in Unity Shader Graph
- PART 2 : Digital Materials: Opposite Scenarios -
This part I imagine several hiding solutions using digital materials. To achieve this, I created a simple AR application using Unity to show how our digital appearance is hidden from the visual perception in some everyday scenarios. Also to defend electric recognition devices, I tried to design some other methods, similar to camouflage, and to mimics malfunctions by devices. They may be visible to people, but will cause trouble for machine identification.
Native to the physical materials & Human perspective

- PART 3 : Digital Materials: Virtual Outfit and its application -
EZSKIN is a visual-sensitive virtual costume design that explore the dynamic relationships with digital bodies and power subjects in an augmented reality near future. It experiments on the transforming the concept of greater value is assigned to subjects with more attention, to the individuals’s shared virtual experience of perception for digital avatar appearance.
